What is CATI?

CATI stands for Computer-assisted telephone interviewing. Computer-assisted telephone interviewing is a way of collecting data through telephone in which the CATI facility is equipped with modern questionnaire authoring, auto-dialing, data entry, edit processing, tabulation and analytical software systems.

Interviewers enter answers received by telephone directly into computer memory by means of individual keyboards. Most CATI software has built-in logic and also built-in branching logic which also enhances data accuracy and which will skip questions that are not applicable or will probe for more detail when warranted.

Rigorous project specific training is imparted to the interviewers before they start interviewing. This ensures that every individual
in the team is in sync with the project and client expectations. In order to ensure high voice quality the services centers uses IPLC line coupled with VOIP lines as a back-up.

Now a days using CATI technology, interview questions are stored in computer memory, recalled in programmable sequences, and displayed for each interviewer on a video display terminal

Some of the advantages of CATI Services are:-
